ARTISTIC STATEMENT
My choreographic work sits at the intersection of movement, storytelling, and musicality. Rooted in street and social jazz vocabulary and deeply influenced by hip-hop and musical theater, my process always begins with context: who is moving, why, and in what world. I approach choreography as an entertaining narrative tool, using the body to reveal character, power dynamics, and emotional tension. Music is a driving force in my work—I often reshape or re-orchestrate tracks to create momentum and structure—while remaining attentive to how movement lands on different bodies. I work across a wide range of levels, from movers to professionals, and prioritize clarity and respect in the room. Creating a positive, focused environment with strong human connection is essential to my process, allowing dancers to fully engage, take risks, and bring authenticity to the work.
